We use a variety of different techniques at our business workshops including:
- Process modelling - Delivering a comprehensive set of online process documents clearly and simply representing the processes covered. These documents can then be used as training material for new staff and also as a key input to any software development/implementation. Our models are delivered as Microsoft Word documents which are simply generated into an online model set. The models have been designed to be both usable (Feedback from previous projects has shown that all members of a team actively refer to the process models for information) and maintainable (Owning and using their process models daily in their jobs results in teams being keen to keep them up to date as their processes change over time)
- User Story mapping - A user story is a tool used in Agile software development to capture a description of a software feature from an end-user perspective. The user story describes the type of user, what they want and why, helping to create a simplified description of a requirement as a crucial input to a software development project.
