Write by Design was established to help organisations resolve issues resulting from insufficient knowledge transfer, usually caused by pressing work schedules.
When we first started delivering our service we used various approaches, from working with teams on the delivery of standard documentation to using knowledge transfer tools.
After our first few projects, we found that the most successful and least costly to the client was to run focussed and highly collaborative workshops with their teams to enable the transfer and capture of software design or business process knowledge.
At our workshops, your software design or business process is walked through in a structured way to enable the consensus view to be shared with all the attendees.
Our experience, working with large organisations, showed us that this was the only truly effective approach to extracting the detailed knowledge built up over years, regardless of the technology used.
